What’s it like to work with me?

+ How does the process work?
We’ll start off with a kick-off call and questionnaire our first meeting to fully understand your brand. Then depending on the service and package we will ensure that our strategy is refined and approved. For more information on the process for my packages, please go here.
+ how can i contact you?
The best way to contact me is via e-mail at hbic@carolheard.com, I am available Monday to Thursday from 10-5 p.m. and Friday from 10-2 p.m. I typically do not respond on weekends or major US holidays, and any inquiries via e-mail will be answered in 24 to 48 hours during business hours.
+ DO YOU OFFER DIFFERENT PAYMENT OPTIONS?
Yes, typically I require a 20% deposit to secure your spot, then once the project starts another 30%. You will pay the remaining 50% after the project is completed. Late payments will result in an additional 5% weekly incur fee. All final files and website will not be released until the remaining balance is paid in full. All deposits are non-refundable.
+ Is there a cancellation fee?
For any reason you would like to discontinue working with me during the remainder of the project, your 50% deposit will serve as the cancellation fee in addition to a pro-rated fee for the assets created up until the time of cancellation. Once the notification of cancellation is submitted with at least 7 days notice, all design work will stop immediately. Please note, that I have the right to terminate any contract in the instance that the client is uncooperative to my standards and policies.
+ DO you offer printing services?
Yes, I’m happy to provide printing services. Please contact me for more information.
+ HOW DOES REVISIONS AND ITERATIONS WORK?
All projects come with at least one free revision unless otherwise mentioned. Additional revisions are an additional fee. I kindly request feedback in a timely fashion to make the magic happen!
+ What platform will you use to build my site?
I utilize Squarespace, Shopify, and Wordpress to build websites. If you’re interested in another platform please let me know.
+ I’m interested in an e-commerce website, will you upload my inventory?
I will upload up to 15 items free of charge, for anything more please contact me directly for rates.
+ are you a web developer?
No I am not, I am a web designer but I work with web developers and can assist with custom websites. I can provide HTML coding for special features on Shopify, Squarespace and Wordpress sites at an additional cost. Please let me know prior to starting your site.
+ do you do smaller projects like snapchat filters and social media graphics?
Yes, just reach out and we can talk!
+ Do you offer tech support after my website has been launched?
Yes, up to 30 days after the project ends for minimal adjustments and changes that add up to no more than two hours. For full-on web maintenance over two hours, a fee of $100 per day will be requested at time of booking.
